Monica Wheeler,

Master Licensed Esthetician, Licensed Esthetics Instructor, Nutrition Specialist

With a passion and dedication to skin health, Monica earned her esthetics license in 2007. She then attended post-graduate training at the International Dermal Institute where she studied advanced treatments for skin diseases and disorders. She is certified in Laser Technology, Microdermabrasion, and Chemical Peels. She first went to work as a Medical Esthetician at AOG Medical Spa in Dalton, GA, where she worked until joining Dalton Plastic Surgery to launch their new Medical Spa. She quickly grew her clientele by devoting her passion for skincare to each client. She then decided to pursue teaching and opened Dalton Institute of Esthetics and Cosmetology in 2011 where her dedication to an elevated standard of education in the fields of esthetics and cosmetology has established the foundation for Dalton Institute and allowed it to grow and succeed into a nationally accredited school. In 2013 she again launched a new medical spa at Dalton Dermatology & Day Spa. Today she lives and loves at her home, where she devotes her time not only to maintaining the standards at Dalton Institute of Esthetics & Cosmetology, but most importantly to her home, her farm, her family, and perhaps a blog post. She begins each day with a hot cup of coffee and her Bible. She ends each day with a prayer and a blessing.
